30 Day Lolita Challenge -> Day 10

 

Heey! How are you doing? ^^ Today, on my 10th challenge day,  I'm going to show you what is in my bag. I carry with me mostly a lot of things, but it depends on the day too. Sometimes is my bag realy heavy, my poor back could tell you x) Anyhow, enjoy! ^^

So, let's take a look! 

 

This is my bag! I have of course more bags, but this is my only lolita bag, so I've choosen her. It's from Bodyline, a AP replica, I think. I like it very much! There's a lot of space inside and it has also some side pocket, what is a big plus. On the zipper, I have an other tote bag, which is hidden in an cute red apple. It's really useful for little shopping or other stuff too big for the bag.

And this are things I carry with me mostly:

• Bottle of water (I don't drink very much, what is very very bad, but I always try to have one with me)
• Pencil case (I love this one so much!)
• Wallet (A gift from my boyfriend)
• Sunglasses (Only when sun shines, of course)
• Tissues (Tutorial for red'n'white tissue pocket comming soon! ^^)
• Tic Tac (Or another candy or bubble gum)
• Cell phone (with Piggy charm, also from my awesome boyfriend ^^)
• Pocket mirror
• Hand cream (very important especially in winter!)
• Lip balm 
• Nail rasper 
• Keys

30 Day Lolita Challenge -> Day 9

Wear it as a costume  Because we all try to explain random people who stare and ask, that it's not a costume, and wearing it on halloween or as cosplay is kinda contradiction...


Going to a concert I don't mean those cute Kanon Wakeshima, or somthing like that concerts, but rock or metal concert, where everybody does those funny things with their heads, and spill beer all around. -___-  Although you never know what would a crazy fan do around his idol, that mean EVERY concert can be dangerous! 

Playing sports I'm not a sport fan, so doing any sport in my pretty clothes is quite unreal. But generally I think it must be really impractical.

Cleaning house ...

Cooking or Baking           ...

Painting a picture or modeling from clay    ...Because it's all MEEEEESSY! ^^

Playing with pets I know they are cute and fluffy and huggable, but they also venture fur on your clothes, slobber, scratch and bite, and your fancy dress may not be able to survive it.

Eat something from chocolate fountain Not again! I did it once and whole my dress was a bit...ruined.

Walking in heavy rain/snow Another "not very good" idea. On our first lolita meet up we walked down the street, and suddenly it started raining heavily. What should I say...too many unpoofy skirts, wet shoes, destroyed hairstyles and transparent blouses...Since then I watch weather report before every meet up!

Going to a bar/disco/pub... I live in quite conservative and ossified country, so anything uncommon makes too much attention, and it doesn't bring much understanding. And that's not very pleasant, especially in crowded places like that.

Hello there! ^^ Today is song day! It was quite hard to choose from so many songs i love! But finally I picked those ten, which describe best my attitude towards the lolita style. Hello everyone! How is your weekend?
Today I'm going to show you 10 people who inspire my style. These are mostly blogers and vlogers which I follow and adore so much. It took me a bit longer, because I wanted to tell you about each person at least one short sentence. Mostly how do they dress and why I like their style. I hope you enjoy and maybe find something new and interesting!

LOLITA CHARM

Victoria Suzanne is somehow like a root of my lolita blooming. Her blog was among the first things I discovered, when I searched for informations about this style.The outfits she makes are always pretty, soft and elegant, but of course they were changing and growing after time. I like that she sometimes adds into her lolita coordinates some elements from other cute styles like fairy kei or hime gyaru.
Of course I also have to mention her articles about lolita, lifestyle or just some tips for a months etc. They all are perfect and inspiring! Sometimes they make my day or offers encouragement when wearing lolita.

MISAKO AOKI

Probably like every other sweet lolita my biggest japanese lolita hero! x) When I imagine perfect lifestyle lolita the first person I think of is Misako. She is pretty, cute, kind...and mostly she cares about her fans alot! She organizes tea parties, writes her own blog, answers on her FB page and even more! I hope she will wear lolita even when she becomes old lady! It will be definitely kawaii! xD

VIOLET LE BEAUX

Violet is really an interesting person. I really like her style even it's not lolita anymore, she's more up to hime, and sometimes her outfits remind me 50's style. Thing I like about her the most are her tutorials! Although she makes only simple bow it looks great, and it is written very simple way step by step. She also posts REALLY often, what I admire alot...wish I would post at least once a week!

 

PASTEL RAINDROPS

Mio is great inspiration for my everyday outfits. Her decora/fairy kei outfits in 80's spirit on the one side and classy, mature, on the other. They all are just great, playful and detailed! As she said it's from one extreme to another. That's what I love about her.

 

KERLI

Kerli. I'm absolutely not into cyber goth. But Kerli's bubble goth version is just love. Light pastel colours, ruffles, lace, bows and bling bling rhinestones. It's something new and original, that's why it's SO perfect. Can you imagine that most of the things in her last video she made, or decorated by her self? I think it's amazing !

 

CAROUSEL DREAMS

 Emilia is super sweet lolita from Sweden. I like how she experiments with many accessories and different styles - mostly fairy kei in her outfits. I love her handmade accessories, especialy those from clay. I wish, one day I'll learn to make such pretty myself!

ZERUDA

Zeruda's outfits are so perfect! At first, she was more into sweet style and pastel colours, but nowadays her style is more classic and mature with mostly dark shades of red, brown and blue, with cream. I'm in love with her colour combinations and wig styling.

SHELBY CLOUD

Shelby is a very nice sweet lolita. Her style sometimes reminds me of Misako's. I mostly watch her videos on youtube, some of her topics are very helpful and encouraging, some are cute and fun, and some are very inspiring.

FILLE DE PORCELAINE

I found Jennifer long time ago (about 2 years) on youtube. She's gothic lolita, but her wardrobe includes also a few sweet (better said - more colorful) pieces. Her outfits are elegant and simple. She's very nice and helpful, she especially makes how to's and tip's and trick's, what I appreciate the most. My favorites are her hair tut's. ^^

CUPCAKE'S CLOTHES

I randomly crushed on Georginas blog not so long ago. But I must say that it was a great crash! She's very sweet, her outfits are always creative, mostly simple with cute decent details. She use mostly soft pastel colours, which are lately my favourites. I like very much her nail art, she maid also few tutorials!

30 Day Lolita Challenge -> Day 6

Internet ~>What would I do without it? Mostly because lolita fashion is from abroad, and without internet I wouldn't know much about it. Thank you egl comm., lolita handbook and hello lace for useful informations, mostly in my beginning! x)

Crafting ~> It somehow goes together with lolita, to me. Maybe because I make especially lolita accessories (I mean cute and colorfull stuff which I wear mostly with my lolita outfits...ther's probably any specific lolita accessory)  I wear them with my "normal" clothes as well! ^^

Bows ~> I can't imagine any good enough replacement for them. Love them forever to death!

Acccessories ~> In my opinion good lolita outfit without accessories, just can't be good. Can you imagine wearing only a dress with shoes? No head peace? No wirstcuffs or bracelets? Any purse!? There's no way it can be right (!!! xD)

Confidence ~> To wear lolita (or any other uncommon clothes) in public, is confidence like "musthave". Real one, or fake one. Personaly I take all those nasty comments and weird stares badly, so I try to block myself with headphodes in my ears, reading book in the bus or just looking other way and pretending that nobody's there.


Loli Friend ~> I would probably talk with myself all the time. Or annoy other people, who don't care, or don't understand whut the hell Imma talking about all the time xD I'm so thankful for those few lolita friends I have. Luv ya <3 ^^

egl_comm_sales ~> All the clothes I have is secondhand from there. That's why.

Inspiration ~> Almost everywhere. Books, movies, old clothes, toys...and of course other beautiful lolitas all over the world! If you keep your eyes open, you can find something amazing in everything.

Fake Eyelashes  ~> I love how different eyes look with them! It gives such a dolly, girly, cute, whatever look. I would wear them every day!I just don't have any glue right now... ;__;

Cute Handbags ~> I tend to carry with me a lots of stuff, so to have a cute and refillable enough bag  is just obligation!

30 Day Lolita Challenge -> Day 5

 Hello! Today I'm gonna show you my dream items! I don't actually have any wishlist, because I like almost
 every peace from my favourite brands and I would be happy for anything. But here are few things that I would love to own mostly. Maybe next year when I will finally find some part-time job! x)

1. AP Milky-chan of the fawn ribbon JSK in brown

This is my absolutely most wanted dress! It's so cute and variable! I would love to have whole set in brown.

2. Metamorphose Fairy Tale JSK in levander

This dress is so dreamy. Just like from a fairytale! I found it not long ago, but it was love at first sight! I hope I will be able to get it one day!

 3. BTSSB Unico in Bloomland JSK in pink

This summer I was seriously thinking about my first order directly from brand. This dress is just LOVE! Simple, soft and filled with uniceorns! I love unicorns so much! World needs more unicorn prints. ^^

4. AP sweet engineer boots in pink

I love rainboots very much! And these boots look somehow like rainboots in the cutest possible way! Must have!

5. BTSSB El Dorado Applique JSK in black

Another pony print ^^. It's so simple! Perfect for casual. Maybe skirt should be very nice too.

6. Inocent World Lotta JSK in brown

My favourite dress from IW. It looks like classical version of Milky chan xD I love it!

7. Tea Party shoes in every colour

It would be my cutest collection ever! I love Tea Party shoes! I can imagine them with almost every outfit. I hope to get my pink ones soon... ~˘o˘~

8. AP Wondertrip coat in black

 

This coat reminds me somehow Sherlock Holmes. But in kinda cuter version x) 

9. BTSSB Umbrella in white

 

With our "luck" for nice weather at the meet ups, we concurred ourselves,  that to invest into burando umbrella won't be out of place. I think that classic Baby umbrella is just best! 

10. AP Angelic School rucksack in pink

 

 This is how looked my dream school bag, when I went to 1st class.And still I think my bag should look like this! x)

30 Day Lolita Challenge -> Day 4

 

I was looking forward for this day! I like to eat yummy yummy food!So here we go! 

Muffins and Cupcakes ~> It's the best kind of cake I ever knew! There are many variants of them like sweet, salty, healthy, for special occasions, or just quick and simple. I love to bake them and decorate them. It's fun and relaxing!

Puding  ~> Cold and rich in summer for sweet refreshment, or hot and molten in frosty winter for heating up! Time for pudding is everytime! 

Chocolate ~> I love chocolate! Who doesn't? Need just a bit every day! ^^ 

 

Macarons ~> It was love at  first bite! They are just so tasty and cute! I don't have many chances to eat them, and when I tried to bake them I failed  ;__;

Sushi ~> I can eat loads of them. Especially with my awesome boyfriend! xD 

Sea Food ~>  It's so delicious and healthy! My favourites are shrimps!

Chinese Food ~> It just gets me everytime how chinese people cut some stuff, put them all together on one pan, fry them and it tastes hell-good.

McDonald's Breakfast ~> I don't particulary like McDonald's food, but the breakfast are just delicious! They taste like the real thing! xD

Fresh Fruits slices ~> Especialy in summer when I'm at my grandmother's place and I can pick everything fresh from garden! My favourites are strawberries!

Donuts ~>  With topping or filling...they are all just great! ^o^

30 Day Lolita Challenge -> Day 3

 

Today I'm going to write about things I hate. I don't say that lolita fashion is ideal in everything, but it was really hard to  find 10 bad things! x)

1. Price. Brand clothes are just so pretty! I would love to have them all, and wear them every day! But those prices are just ridiculous sometimes! 35 euro for one tiny plastic AP ring?! Sorry?! I'm not stealing yet x)

2. Difficult to get hold of. Almost everything is from Japan or China. And not every lolita shop shipps to Slovakia, or shipping is just as expensive as whole order you made. It's so unfair that when you save enough money for a dress, you need to save that much, only for the shipping.

3. Makes too much attention. It's not necessary bad thing. Of course, only if you meet nice people, or people who just don't care.Then are people who stare, make weird noises, ask silly questions, shout "funny" things and so on. It's very painful and unpleasant.

4. Not accepted everywhere. I mean my old hip hop and bitchy schoolmates look at me like "WTF?!?!" That I quite understand. Because I think that nothing what is not sexy or from "super ultra modern" shops like NewYorker is just not acceptable between most of young people here, in my age. But when my grandmother looks at me like: "Aren't you too old for dress like that?! Act your age! It looks funny!"...it's somehow weirdo o__O normal old ladies do smile at me every time.

5. Impractical. You can't do almost anything while wearing lolita, because everytime there is a chance to mess yourself. And when you accidentally get dirty, you can't just put your AP JSK to washing machine! Or I wouldn't dare to do that. ^^

6. Clothes can be demaged easily. Socks are dirty in a while, shoes do have little scratches on them after first wearing and everytime, there appear some tiny odd stains on dress. You can be anyhow careful, this just happens. Or only to me? I dunno o__O .

7. Japanees burando doesn't fits. Or I just have too long legs for it. Shame for me.

8. RHS. It's not like hate...I just don't like them. I like much more Tea Party Shoes! In my opinion they look more cute and elegant and aren't so HUGE.

9. Kneehigh socks. Because I don't like how my knees look like in them. OTK socks or tights are much prettier!

10. Wearing lolita during my "favourite" days. Like any other girl. I think. ^^

30 Day Lolita Challenge -> Day 2

 

I had so much fun writing this day, because there are so many things I love about lolita. I think that all things that make lolita fashion so special for me are here, and nothing important is left behind. I hope you will like it and I'm looking forward for your reactions! 

1. Lolita makes my day happier. In any way ~> wearing my lovely dresses, reading blogs, looking at pictures on Tumblr, talking with my loli firends...My day can be however terrible, stressful or sad, but when I come to contact with something loli, my mood rises up magical way! That's the thing I love most in this fashion ~> it's so magical!

2. Lolita friends are very important. It's not most important thing, because you wear all those clothes on yourself, no one else can wear it for you. But it's soo much more fun when you can share your new discoveries with someone, when you start to craft something together, when you will need some help with that complicated LJ, or someone with same troubles like: "Is this petticoat poofy enough?!". It's always great when there is somebody for you, who understands and loves the same things like you do. I don't have many lolita friends and our lolita community is quite new so sadly I didn't have many chances to get to know our lolitas here better. But my dearest loli friend, Sysa, is just great! We plan to do together "Loli Creative Workshops", Tea parties and Group Orders. I'm looking forward to all that!

3. Meet ups are fun. Of course not every time. There are all those troublesome things like rain on your picnic, annoying people in community, or just people around who stare, make fun, or annoy with photographing  and silly questions. Yes. We all know that. But anyhow, just don't mind the bad things and enjoy the good ones. Best thing about meet ups is that in huge group you don't look so strange and after while you don't absolutely mind weird stares from people around. You can enjoy meet up programm without bad feeling about inconvenience around.

4. Internet communities are amazing. So much inspiration in so many different ways ~> blogs, vlogs, Tumblr, EGL...It's very interesting to see lolitas from all around world. Different places, different culture, different ways of coordinates...I just love browsing web! It's almost my daily routine. 

5. Nice compliments are the best. It makes me than much more comfortable and I don't mind anymore that I look different. Just one nice compliment makes all day more special. ^^

6. I can use a lot of creativity. To make a good outfit is quite difficult. My wardrobe is very very small, so I need to wear my clothes few times in a row. So I need to make skirt or dress in a bit different coordinate each time. Although it's fun and I like to think about next coordinate or create some new accessories for it.

7. Poofy poofy skirts. Whole silhouette is just so pretty! Perfect cupcake poof look so dolly, and it makes princess sense. But sometimes it's a bit troublesome, like when you need to sit on two bus seats, or when a doors are too narrow and you walk thru sideways.

8. Bows all over. I love bows. No no, I LOOOOOVE bows!! I can put them anywhere. And there is never enough! I wear at least one bow every day. ^^

9. Only good quality lace. Since I wear lolita I look only for good quality lace everywhere. Even on every day clothes or "non-lolita clothes". I love tulle lace, I think it's ideal for cute sweet clothes. Cotton lace is perfect for classic lolita.

10. Magical prints. Every print hide in itself some story or fairytale. It's interesting imagine what should it mean. Just like children's picture book with no text which growth their creativity and imagination.It makes to dress charakter. It gives to it mysterious, infantile or cute look.

30 Day Lolita Challenge -> Day 1

 

I don't know if I understand this first day well, but I tried my best! So here we go! 

1. I know lolita for more than 4 years, but if I would have started to wear it back then, I would definetly end-up as ita. (probably as every beginner lolita with no research and any loli friends ^^) 

2. As I mentioned in my post before, I started to take more interest in lolita fashion after my awesome boyfriend showed me Kamikaze Girls  movie. He hates himself now for this mistake. x)

3. Although my boyfriend hates lolita so much, it was him who told me to buy my first brand item ~> my Baby skirt. He said it's time to stop only dreaming about it and fnally make my dreams come true. He also made a PayPal account for me! I know why I love him!

4. Lolita made me more crafty, because here, in Slovakia, we don't have so many loliable shops. Even in those few shops it's quite expensive. So, when I wanted to have cute little accessories (not for all my money), I had to made them by my self. I learnt a bit sewing, working with polymer clay and air drying clay, working with felt, painting on clothes and so on.

5. I like lolita "rules". Really, I can't imagine Lolita without them. I love to experiment and make outfits more creative, but only if it's compatible with lolita principles like not showing too much skin, any chep lace and so on.

6. Although I don't have too many opportunities to wear my lolita clothes, at least  I like to look at them. So I display them outside my closet. It makes me happy every day!

7. I'm lucky enough to visit an art school, where wearing uncommon clothes is not so uncommon. If I had more lolita clothes, I would wear it every day!

8. I love Paris! In my opinion it's ideal lolita city with elegance, rich culture and nobility. In Paris is also BTSSB and AP store what makes it even more lolita. I plan to visit Paris next year, I hope I will save up enough money for that trip...

9.I try to include some lolita accessories even into my everyday outfits. For example I wear at least bow in my hair.

10.I still don't consider myself as lifestyle lolita. I like that idea very much, some of my hobbies are "loliable" like crafting, painting, sewing or baking. But I think lifestyle lolita should have much more, like"lolita spirit", not only hobbies and clothes.
